Meet Dr. Ingalls
Dr. Jeffrey Ingalls is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He has a distinguished military career that spans over a decade, including a deployment to Afghanistan where he received the Bronze Star Medal for his service. He served as the officer in charge at his clinic as well as the surgical chief for the oral and maxillofacial surgery department. He served as an assistant professor at the Uniformed Serves University of Health Sciences while instructing residents at Martin Army Community Hospital at Ft. Moore (Benning), GA. He is joining Bay Center after serving on active duty for 12 years in the United States Army where he recently was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and received the distinguished Meritorious Service Medal.
Born in Montgomery, AL and raised in Kennesaw, GA, Dr. Ingalls graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) at Ft. Moore, GA. He completed Airborne school enroute to his first duty location at Ft. Hood. TX where he worked as a brigade dentist and deployed to Afghanistan. He pursued his passion for oral surgery at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, where he completed his residency and served as chief resident.
Dr. Ingalls is an expert in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with special interests in facial reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, trauma, TMJ disorders, pathology, dental implants, and pediatric surgery. During his time at Ft. Moore, he also worked in Atlanta, Georgia, at a unique practice that specializes in pediatric surgery and sedation. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
When he is not working or teaching, Dr. Ingalls enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley and their three children Cooper, Hudson, and Ella Kate. He also likes activities on the water, golf, and watching college football.
Dr. Ingalls is highly skilled in a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field. Dr. Ingalls has proudly served our country, earning numerous military awards, and is now grateful for the opportunity to serve families right here in St Petersburg, FL.
